Are you ready to RAAAAAAWWWWK?!?


Have a look at these great pictures our friend Gabriel Cain took of our Halloween costumes. We were at our friend Marty's Hallowthanksmaseen party last weekend. Click on the images to go to Gabe's Flickr account to look at the photos full size:



For those not getting it, that's Judy Nails and Axel Steel from Guitar Hero 2. I'm glad we were able to get that shot of us actually playing the game as those characters. It's hard to do the song when you're facing away from the screen...

There are also some great photos from the same party by Greg Barnett as well. We are blessed with friends who are great photographers.

Job Update!

Today I started work on a 6-month contract at NetMotion Wireless. I'm very excited about this job. They have a good solid product, a sharp team of engineers, a solid software development process, and they're all really nice people. To top it off, the location couldn't be better: Fremont! Just a couple of blocks from the Troll and Dusty Strings, and surrounded by great places to eat. Best of all, my commute is approximately 15 minutes. I'm hoping this contract goes permanent (it's a possibility).

Cool costumes! And congrats and good luck on the contract!

My friend Jason (he co-ran the con suite at Conterpoint) just got a used PS2 just so he could play Guitar Hero. I'm definitely going to have to find more excuses to visit. (Not that his basement full of anime wasn't enough excuse already! *grin*)
