God Save the Sooj

Reminder: Vixy & Tony are playing a special benefit concert at A Gathering Grove in Everett, on Valentine's day, this coming weekend. It will be a double-bill show, with Brooke & John opening for us. Also, we'll have the amazing Betsy Tinney playing with us on cello. We love playing with Betsy, especially since it means we get to rehearse at her house full of Maine Coons. Being Valentine's day, we have prepared a special setlist of all love songs. Of course, all CD sales and tips will go to Save our Sooj; come help us gather love for our friend Sooj!

Coming up, Vixy & Tony will be playing our first concert at Soulfood Books in Redmond on February 28th, and we're going to be Guests of Honor at Consonance, March 6-8, in Milpitas, CA.

Since it's officially public now, we can also finally announce that we will be the International Guests of Honor at Van der Filk, the 22nd Annual British Filk Convention, February 5-7, 2010. We're so excited! This is a great honor, and we're really looking forward to it!
