It's a geeksplosion!
Wasn't CSTS great!? We had an awesome time! For those who missed it, Cheyenne was our emcee once again, joined by Daniel Wolf, and they were just great. The band and friends arrived in a group costume as a gender-bent Firefly cast, including Vixy as captain Mallory Reynolds, me as ship's mechanic Kyle Lee Frye, and Sunnie as pilot Hannah 'Wash' Washburne. Ready for more awesome? How about Geekfest in Lynwood on December 4th? It's put on by SB Charities, the same folks that brought you last Saturday's CSTS event. We'll be there playing with Betsy and Sunnie! There will be other awesome musical guests including Seanan McGuire, The Doubleclicks, The Eben Brooks Band, and the most awesome minstrel himself, Alexander James Adams. For those in the Bay area, Vixy & Tony will be playing at Seanan McGuire's One Salt Sea Book Release Party on October 1st. This will be an awesome shindig which will include The Bohnhoffs like last time. It was amazing last time, so don't miss it this time!
In other news, I'm going to be playing guitar for Marian Call in three different gigs the weekend of Geek Girl Con! The bigest event for me will be the Geek Girl Concert happening on Friday Night, October 7th, in Greenlake. I'm very excited about sharing the stage with four of my favorite artists: Marian, Molly, and The Doubleclicks. Tickets on sale now!
