Bread good, Divx bad.

Consonance was fantastic! Pictures and videos from the weekend are here. Sorry it took me a week to get them up, I had a slight disagreement with my video encoder. Tip: Don't install the Divx codec onto a Macintosh computer, it crashes Quicktime encoders mysteriously and randomly, and it takes you a week to figure out what the heck is going wrong. I still haven't figured out why my encoders on the PC are crashing, even with Divx removed...

During our concert on Sunday, Kristoph was wonderful and used his ADAT to record one of Vixy's new songs for her upcoming album. This way, most of the album will be studio-produced, but it will have one live track on it for fun. I thought that it was a great idea when Vixy came up with it, and I'm happy that Stoph was able to help us out.

Glad the music went well even though the technology as per norm created some problems. I love computers (I say some days through gritted teeth as I solve another teeny problems)

I'm still gritting my teeth trying to solve the same problem on the PC that I solved on the mac. Gr.

Turns out: Intermittently bad RAM, only shows up after Memtest86 has had a chance to run several passes.

It's Corsair so in theory it has a lifetime warranty. Only I can't find the receipt, only the original packaging. I'll research to see if that's enough.
