Bread good, Divx bad.

Consonance was fantastic! Pictures and videos from the weekend are here. Sorry it took me a week to get them up, I had a slight disagreement with my video encoder. Tip: Don't install the Divx codec onto a Macintosh computer, it crashes Quicktime encoders mysteriously and randomly, and it takes you a week to figure out what the heck is going wrong. I still haven't figured out why my encoders on the PC are crashing, even with Divx removed...

During our concert on Sunday, Kristoph was wonderful and used his ADAT to record one of Vixy's new songs for her upcoming album. This way, most of the album will be studio-produced, but it will have one live track on it for fun. I thought that it was a great idea when Vixy came up with it, and I'm happy that Stoph was able to help us out.

Which Who song was the Bohnhoff's opener? I was late getting back and came in right at the beginning of "Wil's Song" (THANK YOU for getting that on vid!)...

And I suppose we'll have to wait 'til the album comes out to find out which track is live?

1. "Baba McDonald's". (I love Mrs. Fields/I eat between meals/I get some snacks into my livin'...)

2. Yep. :-)

If I recall correctly it was the "Life of a Siren" song. They mentioned encouraging audience response on one piece in particular, and I think that was it.

"Baba McDonald's" is the one I think of by its chorus tag-line "mid-age waistband" (instead of teenage wasteland). FWIW.

Heh. It's not actually a secret, since I said it in the concert, and also have just mentioned it in someone else's LJ. Callie's correct, it was the one called "Siren Song."

(Why is it that I always forget to TELL PEOPLE what the titles are?)
