Can't Stop the Seanan

Another busy time has kept me from posting updates recently. Lots of good things happening, though! Let's see... We just recently had a great weekend rehearsing with Seanan here in Seattle. She's coming up here again this weekend for another rehearsal. In fact, you're all in for a treat: Since she's up here this weekend anyway, we're going to drag her to our gig at the Wayward Coffee House and make her sing with us for a few songs. She will have copies of her brand new album Stars Fall Home for sale, too; an album that features quite a bit of my guitar playing, as well as quite a bit of Vixy's wonderful singing. If you're chomping at the bit waiting for Vixy's album, then Seanan's album will tide you over quite nicely. Remember, that's this Saturday, June 16th, 8-10pm, Wayward Coffee House. Be there or be square. This weekend's performance at the Wayward is in support of Can't Stop the Serenity. We're a week early, though, the actual Serenity event is the following weekend, the 23rd. We're doing the best we can to support CSS, because we can't be in town for it. Instead, on the weekend of the 23rd, we're going to be at... Conterpoint 2007 in Rockville, MD. We'll be there as Seanan's backing band for her Interfilk guest concert. We also have a concert set of our own. This is going to be our first NE Floating Filk Con, we're really looking forward to it! I've also been doing some recording sessions here at Monkey Brains Studios, too, laying down some tracks for Callie and a friend of hers. It's been great. Ah, summer! GeekHackFilk.com
