Is it July already?

| Holy cow things have been busy around here. I'm only just now getting the photos up from Conterpoint a couple weeks ago. Which was a fantastic con by the way, we had a blast being Seanan's backup band, and we did very well in our own short concert, too, if I do say so myself. Everyone there was wonderful. We had a great time hanging out with (and getting to know) the members of Wild Mercy, who had graciously shared their suite with us. The only tough part about the Conterpoint trip was the flight back. Panic about delayed flights through The Lost City of Atlanta, wondering if we're going to make our connecting flight, hours of boredom and claustrophobia strapped into airplanes stuck on the tarmac broken up by mad panic dashes through a crowded airport... It's a wonder we made it home at all. And to top it off, my guitar was nowhere to be found when we got back to Seattle. Thank goodness Delta found it and got it back to me the following day. Phew. Oh, hey, speaking of pictures, our friend Gabriel Cain posted some photos of me, Vixy, and Seanan at our last Wayward gig. Thanks, Gabriel! We've also just gotten news that we are the Filk Guests of Honor at Vcon in Vancouver this October! And don't forget that we're the GOHs at FilKONtario in April of 2008. Hey, wait a minute... The first two GOH slots we get offered as "Vixy and Tony", and they're both in Canada? Does that mean we've found our audience, and it's Canadian? Also in recent news, Nancy Freeman's Stardust County is completed and we've gotten our contributor's copies. We're so very proud to have been part of this great album. Congrats, Nancy! |
