Crazybusy!


I've been trying to cram in as much work on Vixy's album as I possibly can. We recently received a set of drum tracks for four songs from Scott Irwin and Kristoph Klover, and I've been feverishly editing and mixing them at every opportunity. Producing an album is hard work when you have a day job!

Luckily, the first of the four songs I decided to work on was Emerald Green. Because by pure coincidence, that song just got nominated in the "Songs of Home" category in this year's Pegasus Awards! Not only that, but Vixy and Tony (that's us!) are nominated in the Best Peformer category! Thanks so much to everyone that nominated us! We are honored. I was able to scramble and get a clip of Emerald Green ready in time to put up on the Pegasus site. The clip is still unfinished, but it's enough for everyone to hear the basic verse/chorus scheme, which is the whole point of having the clips on the site.

It's a bit of a shame, though, that the Pegasus deadline fell when it did, because the following weekend we added a fantastic piano track by our sweet and wonderful friend Alisa Garcia. Ah well, you'll all have to wait to hear the finished track when the album comes out.
