SpoCon Report!

Vixy and I are just back from our guest slot at SpoCon!

We had an absolutely fantastic time. We were treated so well, and our hosts, Char and Randy Mac Kay, bent over backwards to take care of us and all of the other guests of the convention. Of course, everyone on the concom was fantastic, right down to the henchmen wearing color-coded T-shirts (security was red-shirted, of course). Even Timothy Zahn, the guest of honor, earned an honorary henchman T-shirt for helping out with the convention.

The con was held on the campus of a Catholic law school, and boy was it ever gorgeous:



The convention events themselves were all quite fun, and spending time talking to the guests and pros was a treat. We got to play a lot of music for people who hadn't heard us before, but best of all, we got to introduce Filk to many people who didn't know anything about it.
