Once you go blue, you'll always be true
The house concert at House Cerulia last night was wonderful. Everyone was so nice and we had a fantastic time. Betsy and Dave Tinney came, and it was their anniversary, and they brought delicious food for everyone to eat and chairs for everyone to sit upon. We raised a ton of money for Alec and Kore (thank you so much everyone!), played for hours and hours, and then hung out and chatted with the Cerulia girls for hours and hours.
Perhaps the best part of the night was seeing our good friends Luis and Alisa Garcia show up, with Paul Kwinn and Beckett Gladney in tow. They had kept it a surprise that they were coming. We were about to start our first song when we saw them pull up outside and get out of their car. Seeing Luis and Alisa was a great surprise, but not entirely unexpected since they live in Snohomish. But then when Paul got out of the car, we nearly died. Paul and Beckett came up from San Jose to visit the Garcia's, and had kept it a secret from us. We were so thrilled to see them! We're going to go up to Snohomish to visit with the whole gang later this week.
No Vixy & Tony appearances for the next couple of weeks, I'm going to be working in the studio with Brooke & John one of those weekends. Did I already mention I'm recording their album? Anyhoo, after that, we've got an appearance at the Little Red Studio on Friday, September 12th, where we're working as honorary members of Skinny White Chick who is opening for Wendy Rule. Tickets for this show are selling fast, so grab them while you can!
