Ch ch changes...

We Have A Venue Change!

The Wendy Rule & Skinny White Chick show on September 12th has changed venues. Same date, same time, all the tickets are still good, etc., but the new location is the Sunset Hill Community Center, located at 3003 NW 66th St, Seattle, WA 98117.

As before, this is Skinny White Chick opening for Wendy Rule, with Vixy & Tony participating as members of the Skinny White Chick band.

Also, something I haven't mentioned before, we will also be joined that night by the dance troupe Transcend.

It's going to be a fantastic night, don't miss it! Ticket information is right here.

Sigh. I want a transporter so I can get to Seattle for your gigs.

They make 'em. They're big silver tubes. You step in, go to sleep, and when you wake up, you're in Seattle! Sure, they cost money, but Seattle is a great place with lots of neat stuff to do, so you can justify it.

Or you can wait for Consonance in March, where we'll be GOH's. :-)

What the heck was I thinking when I made that link? I mean to link to http://www.consonance.org ...

Consonance for sure. Big metal tubes more problematic for someone who may be laid off today. Sigh again.

Argh! Hope that doesn't come true for you. Good luck.

On the other hand, getting laid off is often the beginning of a great start in a new place. In fact, I came to Seattle looking for a tech industry job after having been laid off in Northern CA. So, y'know, things can work out sometimes.

Thanks for good luck offered and your optimistic words, Tony. I survived the first round, but now have a heads up to get something new in place by January 09 when we lose one of our largest accounts and I will get laid off. Time perhaps, to start that new business I've stalled on :-)

Heh. How many [livejournal.com profile] gaiaconsort concerts did I watch / crew for / help raise the roof with in that venue.... first place I ever saw Heather.... and now things have come full circle. Gonna feel like old home week.

Best to everyone!
