Wayward and Metropolitan and Tricky Pixie and Stuff

Our next gig at the Wayward Coffee House is now scheduled. It's a couple months out, so you have plenty of warning. It's on Saturday, January 24th, which is one week before Conflikt.

We're also scheduled to do an interview with Seattle Metropolitan Magazine today. I don't know what the scope and focus of the article will be yet, or when it will run. We don't know if it'll be about us, about Filk, about Conflikt, or all of the above. It might be a little blurb without details, it might be bigger than that. Whatever it turns out to be, we're excited about it, and we'll keep you updated on what happens with it.

There's a Tricky Pixie concert happening Saturday in Redmond that you shouldn't miss. We'll be there with bells on. How about you?

There's also Orycon in Portland next weekend, including shows by Tricky Pixie, Skinny White Chick, and Vixy & Tony. We're especially excited about our set at Orycon, since it's going to involve Sooj and Betsy again. We just love playing with them. (Edit: There will also be a very very special guest performer on a few Vixy & Tony songs. You might not want to miss this one.)

We've also got our friend Seanan coming to visit us over the holidays, and I wanted to remind everyone that she's taking preorders for her album right now. This will be a fantastic album, with a lot of Vixy & Tony on it (including me singing lead on one song - eek!), and it's being produced by the amazing Jeff Bohnhoff, so you know it's going to sound just fantastic. What I was missing was the fact that today is not Friday. Which I also knew, at some level, but clearly did not know at other levels. I shall fix.

My brain hurts today. So much happening. The magazine interview is probably going to read "flurbz grungle florp."
