I feel like I've been run over by a truck. But in the good way.

That was an amazing night at Gathering Grove last night! Thank you so much, everyone, for coming, for donating/buying, and for making it an incredible evening. I'd especially like to thank Betsy and Dave for awesome cello and awesome logistical support (including sound gear), and Brooke and John for awesome music and being an awesome opening act.

That was just a small sliver of the weekend, though. We've just finished (moments ago) principal recording on Brooke and John's upcoming album Steel Cage Match. There's a lot of editing, mixing, and remixing left to do, which will take quite a while to complete, requiring a lot of back and forth with Brooke as the mixes take shape. Tomorrow is a holiday for me, and I'm going to take the day to do a ton of editing on the last two recording sessions' worth of audio tracks, in addition to paying bills and doing some chores.

Tonight, we've got a house full of people, including the aforementioned Brooke and John, plus Fishy and Lauren, and Susan just went out to get everyone Indian food. She also brought over the most amazing alligator made out of cupcakes. How awesome is that?
