Dead GOHs

The weekend has been fantastic. The hotel and concom have taken great care of us, and given us everything we needed to make it a great con. Thanks very much to everyone at Consonance who made it possible.
Our concert on Saturday night went quite well, everyone seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. I was a little nervous because we got to follow Playing Rapunzel, who were phenomenal. (In fact, they're being phenomenal again right now as I type this.) How do you follow such an awesome act? Well, you just do.
There was a bit of a "thing" when our wonderful toastmistress, Erica Neely, sprained her ankle as she left the stage after introducing us. Fortunately, this convention hosts a couple of doctors, so they quietly attended to her right there as we played, and everything was OK. Erica was encouraging and cheerful, insisting that we just please play, so we did, and it came out great.
All the music this weekend has been exceptional, at all of the filk circles and concerts. Hanging out with the Bohnhoffs, Mary, Margaret and Kristoph and everyone else, has been great (even though Stoph thinks everything is My Fault now).
Next week involves going back to work, and working on Brooke and John's album mix a bit...

Why is Toastmaster such a hazardous occupation? First Tom Smith, now Erica. At ConCertino, the Toastmistress is the MD who helped Erica, so she'd better not injure herself!
