Thump.

What was that noise? Oh, my web site coming back on line after being out for a few months.

Bonk.

That must be the sound of me actually using my LiveJournal for the first time to make an actual post. Yeah, all you folks who said I'd eventually come over to the dark side can say I Told You So.

I'm going to try an experiment here, wherein the news posts on my home page get echoed to my LiveJournal account. If I were completely crazy, I'd actually get a paid LJ account and do direct embedding, but fortunately I'm only partially crazy.

So what's happened while my web site was down? Let's see. I went to my first GAFilk in Atlanta. Photos and my con report are available here, Vixy's con report is here. Fantastic con.

Also recently, got to see John Hodgman and Jonathan Coulton at a book signing. Pictures here.

Finally, still looking for work, if anyone needs a network guy.
