Big Damn Concerts!

Here we go, this Friday, it's gonna be the Big Damn Concert at Betsy's place in Redmond! Sooj is releasing her new album, Mischief (did I mention I engineered and produced half the songs on that album?), we've got Sunnie and Betsy playing with us, and we've got Marian Call doing a whole set of her own! Betsy's shady outdoor amphitheater is an amazing place to watch a concert, and it's going to be a very memorable night. If you're coming, please remember to RSVP to Betsy (ask for directions if you need them), and don't be scared away by the construction barricades on the road leading up to her house. Think of the barricades as a challenge that must be circumvented. It's an adventure!

Then, the very next day, we've got Can't Stop the Serenity, with all the same people playing, and oh yeah, something about a Big Damn Movie on a Big Damn Screen. Have you got your tickets yet?

Heeheeheeheehee. "Betsy's Shady Outdoor Amphitheater" sounds like a song about a burlesque hall and house of ill-repute. Possibly by Arlo Guthrie.

If you leave Portland at 5 sharp, if you don't hit too much traffic, you might make it in time to see Marian Call's set. We're tentatively planning on sets of 1.VnT, 2.Sooj, 3.Marian, for various logistical reasons. Hope to see you anyway!
