Tons of updates!
Time to let everyone know what's happening with us!
Thing have calmed down a bit and we're ready to kick off the real 2011 with a ton of awesome. You see, as our friend Seanan informs us, according to the Chinese calendar, 2011 only just started a couple weeks ago. So we can just fire 2010 and start fresh right now, with the year of the white (metal) rabbit. Ooooh yeah.
For starters, I'm currently rehearsing to play guitar for Marian Call this coming Thursday night, March 3rd, at 9pm in the downstairs section of the Fremont Abbey. This is going to be an awesome night, as Marian performs some new songs from her upcoming album, and gears up for ECCC. Everyone please come! Tickets available from the front page of MarianCall.com.
While Marian hangs out here in Seattle, Vixy and I will be heading down to Consonance that same weekend, where we'll get to see Carla and Joe for the first time in years, I'm so excited!
Then, just two weeks after Consonance, on Saturday March 19th at 6pm, we'll be back down in the Bay area, at Borderlands Books with Seanan, Betsy and Jeff and Maya to do a huge party for the release of Seanan's new book! This is going to be huge fun, and will involve tons of music, readings, giveaways, and maybe even hairless cats.
And then, in April, it's Norwescon 2011, where we're doing a concert on Saturday night opening for the amazing Heather Dale and Ben Deschamps, who some of you may have caught us playing with at our last gig at Wayward. We're cooking up all sorts of great stuff for that night, so you absolutely can't miss it! By the way, Heather and Ben are looking for Pacific Northwest venues that will do proper contracts and such, since they're doing an actual tour with a real work permit and everything. If you've got a venue that would be perfect for Heather and Ben this spring, please contact them and let them know!
And hey, speaking of Wayward, Broenwynn gives us an update about their status, letting us know that she is trying to get opened in a new location. We are looking forward to seeing Wayward rise from the ashes and return to its glory days as the center of all browncoaty goodness in Seattle.
Spring is coming, and 2011 is going to be fantastic! Who's ready?

Very much looking forward to seeing both you and Vixy at Norwescon. I'll be following the Filk track. Then why don't you two come by the Paranormal Fair (in the Grand Ballroom) on Sunday and get a reading from myself or any of my wonderful talented friends who will be doing divination readings there.
Hugs and love!
