Seattle Metropolitan Article
Our article just appeared in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine (January 2009 issue, p.32, online version here), and we're very happy about it. We really didn't know what to expect, the magazine didn't give us a hint of what it was going be like, but I think the end result is great. The caricature they drew of us is downright silly, and I love it; I can even tell which photo they used as a reference. The article also mentions the Conflikt convention coming up at the end of this month, which makes us very happy, it's such an important event for us.For those of you who found us for the first time by googling for us after reading the article, feel free to say "hi" by commenting here (you'll need to make a LiveJournal account, though). Oh hey, speaking of Conflikt, I've just gotten confirmation that Marian Call will be doing a concert there on the Saturday night of the convention. The lineup that evening will include Marian Call, our toastmaster Frank Hayes, and our guest of honor Seanan McGuire with Vixy & Tony participating as members of Seanan's all-star backup band.
Quick reminder to everyone: Vixy & Tony are doing a house concert tomorrow, Saturday, January 3rd, at 6:00 pm, at Erosong, with Seanan McGuire and Betsy Tinney. Everyone is invited.
